Heroes Comic Con welcomes Gillian Anderson
Today, the organisers behind Heroes Comic Con 2025 announced that they will welcome acclaimed actress Gillian Anderson to Brussels Expo on 18 and 19 October. Known for her award-winning performances across film and television, Anderson first rose to international prominence in the 1990s as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the cult sci-fi series The X-Files. Since then, she has built a diverse career with standout roles including Margaret Thatcher in The Crown, sex therapist Jean Milburn in Sex Education, Dr. Bedelia du Maurier in Hannibal, and parts in films such as The Last King of Scotland and Johnny English. At the event, she will take part in photo opportunities, autograph signings, and live panels, giving fans the chance to engage directly with one of the most recognizable figures in contemporary television and cinema.
In addition to Anderson, a wide range of international guests are set to make an appearance at Heroes Comic Con. Cast members Brandon, Kelly, Steve and Andrea from the iconic 1990s series Beverly Hills 90210 are scheduled to appear, alongside the debut of a Japanese Gundam artist in Belgium as part of the Made in Asia segment, which highlights Asian pop culture. Running in parallel with the convention, gaming event GameForce will bring together prominent voice actors from the gaming industry, creating a multi-genre celebration of entertainment. Visitors attending over the weekend will have access to a mix of panels, performances, and interactive sessions across pop culture, gaming, and anime, with Gillian Anderson’s appearance standing out as a major highlight of the 2025 edition.
