Pixel gore returns in Slain 2: The Beast Within
We had quite a bit of praise for Slain: Back from Hell, an action game with pixel graphics and blood spraying off the screen as you cut your way through enemies. That game is on the older side now, since it was released in 2016. Today we’re here to announce the sequel. Silver Lining Interactive and Steel Mantis just revealed the first gameplay trailer for Slain 2: The Beast Within, where you play the role of Prince Akran, last of the Wolf Knights. When the moon is full, he transforms into a nightmarish beast to destroy his enemies even more effectively. But such a power comes at a price. Man or monster, which path will you choose? Check the trailer below if you’re curious what the game will be like. Slain 2: The Beast Within is coming to PC in 2026, though we don’t have a solid release date yet.
