Sci-fi top-down shooter HYPERWIRED just got a demo and release window
Blending pixel graphics with fast-paced combat, HYPERWIRED describes itself as a roguelike space shooter. The game features a unique tethered core mechanic, where your spacecraft can stay plugged in for massive power boosts at the cost of free maneuvering. Or, you can cut loose, but know that without electricity, you’ll only get so far. HYPERWIRED is aiming for a simultaneous global launch for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2026. But if you can’t wait that long, a demo is already live on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox Series.
