SpellForce III Reforced release postponed
THQ Nordic has announced that the development of SpellForce III Reforced is going to take more time than they thought, which means that they’ve moved the release date to June 7 this year. Together with developer Grimlore Games, they want to create the best experience for the fans, which is why they made the decision to get the game in good shape for release in June.
Spellforce III Reforced is a mix of an RPG storyline combined with some strategy elements to form an RPG/RTS hybrid. The game is set in the year 518, where a rebellion of mages has been quashed by the Crown. Because of this, whole regions have fallen into anarchy with refugees roaming the lands in search for shelter, and a mysterious plague, called the Bloodburn, spreading rapidly.
On June 7, SpellForce III Reforced will be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. in addition to the base game, both expansions will also be available for purchase separately. The SpellForce III Reforced Complete Edition will include the base game and both expansions, for those who want the complete package. Pre-orders for both Xbox and PlayStation consoles are now available as well.
