Team Dynasty wins the first Red Bull Three 2 One Rocket League event!
Belgian team Dynasty has claimed victory at the inaugural Red Bull Three 2 One Rocket League tournament, held in the futuristic Terminal 1 venue in Brussels. The event introduced a twist on the traditional Rocket League format, bringing together six teams of three players, competing in a dynamic 3v2v1 structure. Instead of sticking solely to the more traditional 3v3 match structure, teams were required to prove themselves across 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 modes in a best-of-five series. After a day of fast-paced matches filled with aerial plays, boosts, and high-level mechanics, team Dynasty, composed of Jochen Weyts, Mauro Ongena, and Zeno Sterkens, emerged as the first-ever champions of the format. Alongside a trophy, the team secured €1,500 in prize money and a set of high-performance AGON by AOC monitors. The innovative format added a strategic layer to the competition, forcing teams to carefully decide which players would participate in each mode while ensuring every competitor played both a 3v3 and at least one smaller-format match.
What sets Red Bull Three 2 One apart from other Rocket League events is its emphasis on adaptability and team composition. Each match requires teams to win across all three modes, making individual strengths and tactical decisions critical to success. Some players excel in solo duels, while others thrive in coordinated team play, meaning lineup decisions can determine the outcome of a series. This first edition of the tournament drew attention from top-tier talent, including Belgian Rocket League pro Atow of Karmine Corp, who attended the event and followed the matches closely. The event highlighted the depth of the Belgian Rocket League scene and its potential for growth, while also offering fans multiple ways to tune in via livestreams on RTBF Ixpé as well as the YouTube and Twitch channels of Dutch Rocket League creator Twisty, who helped bring the event to life.
