Plot of the Druid launches in Early Access today

Today, indie developer Adventure4Life Studios released Plot of the Druid on Steam in Early Access, after a successful Kickstarter campaign last year. This fantasy point-and-click adventure game uses high-definition hand-painted drawings and takes inspiration from classics like Simon the Sorcerer, Discworld, and Harry Potter. The developers promise a mystical comedy adventure with sarcastic British wit, hand-drawn cartoon art, and an innovative shape-shifting ability for solving puzzles.

FEATURES

  • A taste of magical shapeshifting and spell casting mechanism.
  • Beautiful hand-painted HD artwork in the style of old-school pixel art.
  • Wacky characters, ALL fully voiced.
  • Cool references to classic LucasArts and Sierra games.
  • Two difficulty levels: Young Apprentice and Master of Disaster.
  • Smooth 2D animations, including amusing and thrilling cutscenes.
  • An immersive, charming background music.
  • A hotspot reveal option to avoid pixel hunting.
  • A journal to help keep you on track.

Upon launch in Early Access, Plot of the Druid will contain just one chapter and it will be localized into English and Hebrew. As the development of the game evolves, three more chapters will be added, resulting in four in total. The Early Access version of the game is available now for $15.
