Barony is out now on Nintendo Switch!
Turning Wheel LLC is excited to announce the Switch release of Barony, a co-op first-person action roguelike. Players can enjoy cross-platform multiplayer capabilities, connecting with friends on Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games Store, regardless of their chosen platform on Windows, Mac, or Linux. In Barony, players can team up with friends to embark on thrilling dungeon adventures, facing deadly challenges and unpredictable monsters in a new dungeon layout with each playthrough. With 13 distinct classes to master, ranging from traditional warrior, wizard, and rogue classes to unique sexton, joker, and arcanist classes, players have a wealth of options to customize their gameplay experience. The game also boasts perma-death mechanics, cryptic dungeons, and an absence of handholding, putting players’ skills to the ultimate test.
Additionally, the game features deep RPG systems with an abundance of loot and stats to explore and synergize, along with a vast array of adventuring weapons, equipment, lore, spells, and legendary artifacts to discover and utilize. The experience is further enriched by ongoing free updates from a dedicated and active development team, who actively engage with the Barony community. Windows, Mac, and Linux players can also take advantage of these features in the latest free update, which includes access to a level editor and exposed assets for easy modding, enabling players to customize their gameplay to their liking.
