A Plague Tale Is an upcoming adventure title developed by Asobo Studio for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Focusing on the plague and its long time ally, the rats, the game follows the story of Amicia and her young brother Hugo. The video, which was first shown after closed doors in June, guides you through a small portion of one of the game’s chapters, namely the site of a brutal clash between the armies of France and England.
Historically this event occurred during the Hundred Years’ War, but in this game they stepped up the rat game in comparison to the historical one. Starting in 1349, France is overrun by waves and waves of all-devouring rats. Only the faint glow of Amicia’s flame seem to keep them at bay… View the footage below, the game is coming in 2019!
