Explosionade DX release announced

Indie game developer Mommy’s Best Games has announced the release of Explosionade DX, a renewed version of the original Explosionade. This game will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Explosionade DX brings a wild twist on 2D mech games to consoles, offering players giant regenerating grenades, two-player co-op and the revolutionary Bubble Shield. This version of the game will include sixty rebalanced levels, online features and improved 4K art from the original Explosionade.

Explosionade DX focuses on First Lieutenant Terry Atticus, who is a bit of a screw up. While all his friends are storming the Horronym Fortress, Colonel Bouche decides to leave him guarding the supply depot. As Terry  opens the depot, ignoring his orders, he finds a gigantic prototype mech. He takes it for a spin in the sewers as he accidentally encounters a second invasion which now can only be stopped by him.

Explosionade DX will release on the 18th of March. Pre-orders are now available for Xbox One players and the pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch will start on February 26. Pre-orders for PlayStation systems will follow later on. Below, you can watch the announcement trailer for Explosionade DX.
