The Lumistella Company has partnered with Outright Games to bring the holiday magic to consoles and PC with The Elf on the Shelf: Christmas Heroes. Launching on October 17th, the game marks the video game debut of the iconic Elf on the Shelf, celebrating the franchise’s 20th anniversary with a new interactive experience for families. Players will step into the role of a Scout Elf-in-training on a festive quest to gather Christmas Spirit and help save the holidays. Set across 24 holiday-themed levels—ranging from Scout Elf Bootcamp to Santa’s Workshop—the game combines light puzzle-solving, platforming, and mini-games, all designed to capture the wonder and charm of the North Pole.
Since its debut, The Elf on the Shelf has become a cherished holiday tradition in households worldwide, with more than 31 million Scout Elves, Elf Pets, and Elf Mates sold across 29 countries. Known for encouraging creativity, imagination, and shared family moments, the tradition is now expanding into the world of video games. Christmas Heroes builds on this legacy, introducing an interactive story that extends beyond the holiday season and brings the Santaverse to life on screen. The game’s 2D puzzle-platform design offers playful challenges and cookie-themed obstacles, alongside hidden surprises and seasonal details that fans of all ages can enjoy.
