Destiny adds Halloween mode

Destiny adds Halloween mode

Guardians entering the Tower are in for a treat today, literally! Bungie is encouraging players to equip scary masks and go trick or treating together during the “Festival of the Lost”. Not only do important NPC’s offer candy when spoken to, but players can also pick up Halloween-related bounties offering rewards for playing the game with a masked character.
Social spaces are decorated especially for the Festival, and Bungie even added appropriate music and dressed up some of the NPC’s.

This isn’t the first time Destiny is doing a Halloween special, last year players found wearable pumpkin helmets in their inventory when logging in around the end of October. This year however, Bungie is introducing a microtransaction component, by offering new emotes such as the Thriller dance for in-game silver (purchased by real money).
