Batman and Mortal Kombat are headed to your Blu-ray collection!
Warner Bros Home Entertainment has revealed more details regarding upcoming home releases for two shiny new animated features. DC collectors can look forward to Batman: The Long Halloween – part 2, the conclusion to the animated adaptation of the legendary Dark Knight graphic novel. Meanwhile, if you’re a fan of Mortal Kombat, you might want to pick up Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms.
In Batman: The Long Halloween – part 2, the Holiday Killer is still on the loose, and Bruce Wayne is under the spell of the devious Poison Ivy, with Batman nowhere to be found. When an unlikely ally frees Bruce, he soon discovers the true mastermind: Poison Ivy’s employer, Carmine Falcone, a.k.a the Roman. Holiday has decimated the ranks of Falcone and caused his businesses to run out of control, forcing the Roman to recruit Gotham’s Rogues Gallery. You can check out the trailer below.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms picks up shortly after Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge’s explosive finale, which kicked off this series of animated films -which are based on one of the most popular video game franchises in history. In Battle of the Realms, our heroes are being assaulted by the enemy troops of Shao Kahn. Raiden and his band of warriors are forced to participate in a final Mortal Kombat that will decide the fate of the realms. We’ve got the trailer for this exciting entry in the franchise as well:
